The Phare Topic Link on Air Quality continues in operation under the Phare project "Strengthening capacity in Phare accession countries in environmental reporting". The PTL/AQ under this assignment will reassume the working results achieved during previous two-year contract "Phare Topic Link on Air Quality" (1997–1999). The experience gathered by the experts in the last contract will be one of the important tools in implementation of efficient and appropriate actions on the way to achieve the objectives of this project.

The main objective of the PTL/AQ work is to provide efficient support to the Phare accession countries (ACs) in development of national expertise co-operating with EEA in air quality area.
